Online shopping loses out to the real thing

recent survey by the Australian National Retailers Association has revealed that over 60 per cent of people have never bought anything on the internet. The most popular reason for not doing so was because they preferred to visit a physical shop. Of those people who had bought something over the internet in the last 12 months, DVDs/CDs/computer games were the most popular items, while only seven per cent of people used the internet to buy groceries. ANRA found that white collar workers were much more likely to buy online than blue collar workers, while men were more likely to buy entertainment equipment online than women.
