Online crooks up the ante
The growth of internet fraud requires serious action. Experts say that there is an ever increasing number of malicious programs and that present protections are of limited value. A survey by AusCERT has found that personal computer users would welcome co-operation from internet service providers to deal with internet fraud. Experts say that credit card fraud and identity theft have grown, with people being individually targeted.
